Join us on November 28th for a discussion and book signing of Lift Us Up, Don't Push Us Out! The event will feature a panel discussion with the author, essay contributors, & allies from the educational and social justice movements.
Lift us Up, Don’t Push us Out: Voices from the Frontlines of the Educational Justice Movement features voices from the frontlines of a new movement for educational justice that is growing across the United States. Each author tells the story of how black and brown parents, students, educators, and their allies are fighting back against profound and systemic inequities and mistreatment of children of color in low-income communities. These activists are advancing a vision for humane, high quality and culturally relevant education.
Each of the 21 contributors help tell the story of how black and brown parents, students, educators, and their allies are fighting back against profound and systemic inequities and mistreatment of children of color in low-income communities. Learn more at: https://www.liftusupmovement.org.
